Should I Take Creatine?
Creatine products have been around for decades, there must be something good about them right?
Well I’ve never been big on supplements but I wanted to give Creatine a try and see if there were really any muscle building or performance benefits.
I tried a cheap brand. Creatine Monohydrate in the free form with nothing added to it. For the money, not too bad…
The first thing I noticed was the increase of energy you get. Well at least for me… So I started taking it before workouts and that just seemed to make so much more sense even though I never hear anyone recommend it.
My strength increased slightly, my energy went up dramatically which in turn helped me to get through the workouts, which sometimes can feel very boring.
The loading phases of creatine doesn’t make any sense. Taking half the supplement in a week doesn’t seem logical. I would recommend taking a maintenance dosage.
Benefits of Creatine is a page I recommend because it gives you in depth better instructions on how to take it, when to take it, and what’s the best creatine to choose from.
So to be honest, plain creatine works good. Somehow I can’t imagine getting into my workouts without it. It increases muscle energy.
